My son and husband both really enjoyed this recipe with the addition of the extra sauce after baking - they said they were very tender, moist, and delicious and they had no problem eating them up and looking for second helpings! We served this yummy dinner with some easy linguini tossed with olive oil, parmesan, salt, pepper, and garlic powder alongside some steamed broccoli for a very satisfying and tasty dinner.
Easy Honey Whiskey Pork Chops slightly adapted from Lori's Culinary Creations
6 Tbsp Honey
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1-2 TBS whiskey
3 6-oz pork chops
- Suggestion: combine sauce ingredients and pour over pork chops in a Tupperware or other sealable container, allow to marinate at least 2 hours, up to overnight, before cooking.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Place chops and combined sauce ingredients in a glass baking dish, make sure chops are evenly coated.
- Bake for 10 minutes, and then flip them over. Continue baking for another 15 minutes minimum (ours were thick cut, so I baked them 45 minutes total which was perfect). The internal temperature should reach a minimum of 145 degrees. Spoon sauce from the baking dish over the top of chops and serve.
